GESHTALT

Many times as a student of design I wish to consult with other students about my works. I don’t always have someone to consult with, not everyone is available all the time, not everyone is willing to tell the truth, sometimes they don’t think they should.

I often want to ask technical questions, like information about fonts, software and various plug-ins.

                                                                   

Many times as a student I seek inspiration and knowledge and want to know where the best and most relevant exhibitions are taking place. I want to know which designer I should follow on Instagram and what design-related articles I should read.

 

Many times as a student, I’m also short on cash.

 

The “Geshtalt” app provides a solution to these predicaments. It combines a social network and a platform for consulting and question asking. Gestalt encourages users to share as much design-related information as possible by rewarding them with tokens that can be converted into cash.

The app also encourages collaborations and meetups between students. The app is aimed for students and lecturers of all academic design institutes.
